OKASODACHI realizes the compatibility between human society and the natural environment

おかそだちロゴ

Growing population, ever-increasing consumption of marine products. Can we continue to let the oceans, and the young people of the next generation, bear this burden?

To leave delicious fish and beautiful nature to the next generation, we believe that land-based aquaculture that does not depend on the sea is necessary.

Circles representing human society and the natural environment overlap, and a silhouette of a fish emerges in the middle.

OKASODACHI realizes the compatibility between human society and the natural environment from the perspective of fish.

A sense of freshness reaches the consumption area.

OKASODACHI is farmed in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture. It is only an hour’s drive from Tokyo. This location allows us to deliver the freshness of the raw fish.

Please enjoy the condensed flavor and outstanding freshness of raw salmon that has never been frozen.

Fresh domestic salmon all year round

年中無休の国産生サーモン

Seasons do not matter for OKASODACHI.

We keep the water temperature below 15 degrees Celsius and circulate cold water to maintain an environment suitable for salmon all year round.

Fresh salmon are in season every day. Please enjoy it throughout the year.

We are updating the "best taste" every day

OKASODACHI is raised in a Closed RAS system; a closed-circulation type method for land-based aquaculture system, in which water is circulated with minimun exchange.

Because we are entirely unaffected by the outside world, we can precisely control the water temperature, water quality, food, and all other aspects of the aquaculture process.

We have been experimenting with various breeding environments and have conducted taste tests.
We will continue to focus on taste, fat content, and texture.

We hope you enjoy the ever-evolving flavor of OKASODACHI.

海水からの魚病侵入リスクが無い背景

No antibiotics

OKASODACHI is raised in a land-based aquaculture system that is separated from the sea and river.

That eliminates the need for antibiotics to prevent bacterial infections.

Zero drainage and friendly to the earth

Generally, salmon are farmed on the sea surface. But when the scale of farming exceeds the ocean's self-cleaning ability, the sea becomes polluted by feces and feeds.

OKASODACHI is cultured using a unique filtration system that circulates water with minimum exchange.

It is a sustainable salmon that does not pollute the ocean and is friendly to the earth.

* ASC certified.
ASC certification is proof of aquaculture products that have been cultured with minimal impact on the environment and society.

陸上養殖プラント

A future model of aquaculture that enables "anytime, anywhere."

The demand for marine products continues to increase due to global population growth. However, the catch of natural fish is stagnant. Also, the catch of aquaculture is nearing its limit due to a decrease in suitable areas for aquaculture and an increase in seawater temperature.

Since OKASODACHI does not require oceans or rivers, it can be farmed in inland areas far from the sea. It is also unaffected by natural disasters such as typhoons, tsunamis, and the spread of pathogens.

OKASODACHI, which can be cultured anywhere and anytime, is the future of our ability to continue eating delicious fish.

// our technology

Aquaculture technology that opens up the potential of the fishery industry

A Closed RAS system is a technology that uses a unique filtration system to circulate water with minimum exchange. It has another exceptional advantage besides being “earth-friendly.”

That is the ability to reproduce any water environment.

This is the perfect environment for research and development, where data can be obtained without any influence from the outside world. A variety of research and development is already underway, including developing new feeds, experiments with fish species that have never been cultured before, and tests of the introduction of IoT into the aquaculture field.
We can say that the Closed RAS system will further evolve the fishery industry.
